Now every tool in the tool crib can be identified and
tracked using barcodes or the InfoDot™ industrialized label. TMS is the software solution to track the status of your tools from tool crib to outside repair, production, maintenance, or even as a loaner to your customer. TMS can assist in assembling common use tool kits that can be stocked and issued. Once returned the kits can be put back into stock or dismantled giving each tool its own stocking location.
The tool inventory balance is maintained by location either in a kit, individually stocked, or out on a job. Discrepancy and past due reports will quickly identify any kits missing tools or kits returned without one or more tools.
Larger tools can have a radio frequency (RFID) tag that can be read by our hand held and fixed RFID scanners; used in conjunction with RFID employee badges you have even more security in your tools shed! If an unauthorized person takes the tool out of the designated holding area this system will record the scan, take a picture of the person taking the equipment then contact the supervisor via email, pager, or phone.

TraxFast IT combines software and hardware withthe InfoDot miniaturized label to identify and track location and status.
The durability of the labels makes it the best solution for tracking as it is designed to withstand sterilization and environmental issues. TraxFast IT retains a history of each time the instrument is scanned from inventory to sterilization to the operating tray. Any movement of the tray and instruments can be tracked by simply scanning the tray's InfoDot label.
Information such as the tray preparer, the operating room, surgery tracking number, date and time is all captured and reported. This make accountability and reconciliation of the returned trays extremely easy to perform.
Asset Management
Fixed Asset Security Tracking
Using the latest RFID technology you can avoid asset shrinkage by monitoring all or selected assets as those assets leave and/or enter designated areas. This system uses RFID readers with antennas mounted near doorways that are being monitored. Using the motion sensors to determine ingress/egress the system will record the the movement of the asset and analyzes a series of events to determine if there is a security breach. If so, the event is recorded and the system alerts the security supervisor of the situation via monitor, email, pager and/or phone.
